AIE Open House – March 10th
James Cardo (Head of School), kicked off our Open House event with a wonderful introduction of our campus highlights and alumni achievements. He explained the different pathways to get into the industry, and importance of building a portfolio in the respective areas of gaming and animation. He shared some of his favorite stories from our campus, and what we expect from our students at AIE. Our staff answered tons of questions from prospective students, everything from specifics on enrollment to graduation.
After the warm welcome, prospective students were given a tour of each studio in their interested field of study, meeting face-to-face with their future instructors. Each instructor explained the numerous available opportunities in both gaming and film, and highlighted our amazing work created by AiE alumni.
Financial aid was also on-site discussing the various ways of financing education, information on housing options, and application for potential scholarships.
Prospective students were able to meet with our admissions team, providing additional information about the interview process. Stories and experiences from currently enrolled students were shared with our future students. AiE was also honored to have one of our guests, Mike Mulvahill (Fasa and EA Games) visit our campus to pass along his industry advice with several years of experience – his dedication never fails to inspire us!
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to this Open House event, and we’re looking forward to meeting you at our next Open House, Saturday May 12th.
