AIE Lafayette Celebrates Student Achievement at the Graduate Showcase
On Thursday, July 2, AIE Lafayette hosted its Graduate Showcase, celebrating the creativity and hard work of graduating students.
The event marked an important milestone for the AIE community, bringing together graduates, family and friends, current students, faculty, staff, and valued industry partners for an evening focused on student achievement and creative work. With a strong turnout and a welcoming atmosphere, the showcase highlighted not only the quality of student projects, but also the support network that helps students grow throughout their time at AIE.
Guests had the opportunity to explore a wide range of student work, including portfolios, game projects, artwork, and animations that reflected the hands-on skills students have developed during their studies. Each project demonstrated technical ability, creative thinking, and the collaborative mindset that is so important across the games, animation, and visual effects industries.
A standout moment of the evening was the screening of the short animated film created by AIE’s 3D Animation & VFX students. Seeing the film presented on the big screen gave guests the opportunity to appreciate the creativity, technical skill, and teamwork behind the project. It was a proud moment for students, staff, and supporters alike.
More than just an exhibition of final work, the Graduate Showcase was an opportunity to recognize the commitment and progress of the graduating class.
