Mentor Opportunities

Supporting Game Development Students

AIE is looking for industry mentors for their students graduating in 2020. The purpose of the mentorship program is to develop student’s communication skills while giving them the opportunity to connect with industry professionals.

You can give back to the game development industry by providing support to these energetic and talented students. The required commitment for a mentor is only 3 phone calls over a period of 3 months. You will provide another perspective and insight into the industry through your experiences and help these students understand the joys and pitfalls of game development.

The students seeking mentorship will coordinate, schedule, and host the meetings, and, before the meetings, they will provide their resume, portfolio, and professional social media for the review of their mentor. As a mentor you only need to answer their prepared questions and provide them with feedback and insight into the industry.

You can sign up here to be part of our mentorship program, or you can reach out to csmith@aie.edu if you have additional questions
